Imagine my surprise to get an award for my gnome ramblings. I humble thank you to Amongst the Oaks for the award. Laura has a great blog which allows me to catch a sunny view of nature even when the weather is dominated here in Ireland by clouds. We certainly know what wellies are on… Continue reading A wee award for my blog

Hats off to Henry
Henry was one of those rare human folk who shared a great affinity for our work as we did for his care and creative flair. He must have a bit of gnome blood in him. What’s nice is that even though the Moray Council may not be able to benefit from him in the future,… Continue reading Hats off to Henry
Gno Etiquette

However, it would certainly be quite an achievement if Jerome was the first gnome to set foot on the South… Continue reading Better take your longies, Jerome
Hitchhikers
You come across the nicest folk on the roads here. Perciful, or Percy as he liked to be called, was great company on my journey through Tuam. However, his bullfrog friend croaked and croaked … my ears are still ringing.
