Ahead of the carve

I just love Sarah Caterisano’s wee illustrations, but I was really impressed by the likeness she achieved in this gnome carving. This easily could be my elder cousin Weinhold. It’s all a bit uncanny. There are lots of links to other awfully talented humanfolk to follow as well.

Macramé Gnomes?

I end up doing less craft projects in the Spring and Summer because I’m so busy about the garden. The wee folks over at CrafyPod found this lovely book on Macramé Gnomes. Fascinating. I’ll have to try and track it down.
