Ahead of the carve
I just love Sarah Caterisano’s wee illustrations, but I was really impressed by the likeness she achieved in this gnome carving. This easily could be my elder cousin Weinhold. It’s all a bit uncanny. There are lots of links to other awfully talented humanfolk to follow as well.
Macramé Gnomes?
I end up doing less craft projects in the Spring and Summer because I’m so busy about the garden. The wee folks over at CrafyPod found this lovely book on Macramé Gnomes. Fascinating. I’ll have to try and track it down.
Crafty Gnome
It’s a great time of the year for craft activities. I only wish I was a wee bit closer to Toronto. Apparently the folks at The Felting Studio of the Phoenix Arts Group in Toronto offer a Felted Gnome Workshop. via the wee folks at Toronto Craft Alert
